This unique sale offers shoppers a wide selection of vintage and native Georgia plants, many of which can be found growing in the Root House gardens. This year, in addition to plants, we will have a sidewalk sale with antique and vintage decor and garden items. We're also happy to welcome Emma's Flower Truck to the Root House this year. |

This family-friendly event will take place in the Root House garden (weather permitting). Guests will enjoy a variety of finger sandwiches, pastries, and a selection of teas. Each $150 reservation includes a farmhouse table and seating for four guests. |

Urban SlaveryThoughtful exhibits, touchscreens, and public art help tell the story of the lives of the enslaved individuals who lived and labored at the Root House property prior to emancipation. Recently discovered family papers and new research into public documents are helping to give us a better understanding of the lives of these enslaved individuals.
